The Aurora Borealis Gallery
"The Northern Lights, How Can They Be, Who Painted The Sky, It Wasn't Me."

|
Featured in this gallery are the works of two well-known science photographers who specialize in images of the Aurora borealis, also known as the Northern Lights.
Our first photographer, Jan Curtis, has contributed the first six pictures. Jan is the Wyoming State Climatologist at the University of Wyoming. Prior to moving to Wyoming Jan worked and lived in Alaska where most of his aurora images were taken. To view more of Jan's work visit his Aurora Page.
Our next photographer, Dick Hutchinson, has contributed the second six pictures. Dick lives about 48 miles south of the Artic Circle. He gets to do a lot of aurora watching and shooting, and his images bear this out. To view more of Dick's work visit his Aurora Page.
