<< 2/12 < > This is a captive mountain lion in a controled setting in the beautiful red rocks near Zion National Park. Mountain lions are also known as puma, panther, catamount and cougar. It is an extremely powerful cat. Males can grow to be over 8 feet long. It is a very agile cat and is capable of leaping to heights of 18 feet or more.
