| This grizzly bear was photographed near Lake Clark, Alaska. Although it may look like it is angry, it is not. When I photographed the bear it was grazing on grass (see the grass in its mouth) getting ready for winter hibernation. It looked up to make sure I hadn't moved and that is when I took the picture. You can tell when a grizzly bear is angry because it lays its ears back, clicks its jaw and has foam around the mouth. Of course, I used a very long telephoto lens to get this photo. |
