<< 8/12 < > The Canadian lynx is a threatened species in the United States.It is a cousin to the bobcat, but is a little bigger. The lynx has much larger paws since it needs to be able to run through snow in the winter in order to catch its prey, the snowshoe hare. It lives further up the mountains in the winter than the bobcat. The lynx is my favorite North American cat.
