<< 10/12 < > The Dall sheep lives on steep, craggy slopes. The beautiful circular horns take about eight years to become circular like this sheep's horns. I photographed this Dall sheep along the Seward Highway in Alaska. When I first begin photographing him he was very high on the cliffs. Eventually, after four hours, he came down the slopes and I was able to get some close up photos.
