| Lords of the Sky - although true birds existed during the Age of the Dinosaurs, the real masters of those ancient skies were the pterosaurs. This large pterosaur, known as Tropeognathus, soared through the skies over what is now Brazil on wings spanning twenty feet. Its oddly crested snout and toothy jaws were well suited for grasping fish as it skimmed along the surface of the water. |
