Color composite images showing the Limb of Gagarin on the far side of the Moon. In the lower right corner is the 143 km diameter crater Jules Verne, its floor covered with dark flood lavas, or mare. At lower left, the dark mare deposits in the floor of the 185 km diameter Tsiolkovsky crater, located at 215 S, 129 E, are visible. Tsiolkovsky is located due northwest of Jules Verne.
